Our standard drive pulleys are mounted with:
- Shaft clamping set
- And our shafts have a larger diameter inside the drum, in order to re-inforce the construction and reduce the risk of shaft bending
We either supply cylindric or crowned pulleys according to customers selection.
Driving pulleys are important components of conveyor belt systems. That is the very reason why any failures of them have to be avoided. The very robust and maintenance-friendly design of the pulleys ensures maximum service life – so just profit from our experience!
Driving pulleys can be manufactured by:
- Using locking bushes (Taperlock) to be welded
- Or by clamping set shaft connections
In most fields of application, however, we recommend to have the clamping set shaft connection.
The layout and design of the driving pulleys depend on the environmental variables on site, e.g. the belt width, the quantity of material to be conveyed, and the belt speed.
